ABOUT THE VOICE BEHIND YOUR NEXT PROJECT

Hi, I’m Susan,

Ever since I was a child, I’ve been drawn to stories–whether humorous, educational, romantic, historical, or out of this world. Over the years, I would often take turns “playing” the characters as I read, using different voices. Several years as a stage actor actually let me “become” other people and experience their lives. The theater also taught me to listen and take direction well.

Now, with the private training I received from The Great Voice Company and its founder, Susan Berkley, I can bring others’ stories and projects to life as a voice actor and narrator-right from my own home studio.

I look forward to working together to help you fully develop and bring your voiceover projects to life, whether they are eLearning, medical narration, documentaries, commercials, IVR, or audiobooks. And as a long-time writer/editor, I can also offer my proofreading skills as a bonus.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I get a sample recording of my script?

Absolutely. I’m happy to provide a sample recording of your script so you can hear if my voice is a good fit for your project. Simply send me a copy of your script along with any performance or pronunciation notes, and I’ll be happy to record a clip.

Do you do live directed sessions?

Yes. I’m happy to work via a live directed session, or provide a full read of your project once booked. Some revisions are included; however, script changes may incur an additional fee. Please contact me for a quote.

How much do you charge?

It depends! How long you plan to use the recording, where it will be distributed, and if there will be paid placement (aka. marketing) all factor into the pricing for voiceovers. The industry standard for voiceover artists is the Global Voice Acting Academies Rate Guide (more commonly known as the GVAA Rate guide).
